The Religious Right are in fervor about the abortion issue that they overlook other many important social issues. The Republican party actually do not care about abortion, they just dangle this carrot to the Religious Right. The Republican party is a party for the wealthy and corporations. When you vote in Republicans, they will focus on bills in favor for the wealthy and corporations. That is why you won't see the Republicans banning abortion in this land. They just want your vote and laugh at you all the way to the bank!
