Oh, Whip!

Oh, Whip. My friend...
my best teacher,
best choreographer.
For years, you were asleep until today.
You woke up in my dominant hand,
grinning about having not lost your strength.
I released you to unwind and stretch.
Pull and push to let your tail scream in joy.
It was the beautiful moment!
When I overthought, you bit back
by embracing me to tame my wild imagination.
The moment you bit,
the adrenaline from my thirst broke,
reminding me the beauty of choreography requires
the understanding of mediation.
Once you released me to continue dancing with you,
a spur of moment told me to mediate,
and follow your beautiful body.
The beauty of nature finally exposed
to my imagination,
so I could last dancing with you until dusk.
Oh, Whip.
My friend,
and teacher,
and choreographer,
who don't speak but whisper
in lashes,
pops,
cracks,
embraces,
and move gracefully
like water,
clouds in the skies on gentle days,
and trees swaying in the friendly wind.
Glad you woke up today,
my friend
for I am awake now
and absorbing the art of motion,
I am seeing the more me,
using my love more.
Whiiiiiip,
you're my light.
