51-year old Lee Kaplan was arrested on Thursday, June 16, in Pennsylvania, after he was discovered living with 12 girls, whose ages ranged from 6 months to 18-years-old. According to police, Kaplan fathered two of the children living in his home with the 18-year-old girl. She was 14-years-old when her first child was born.

Kaplan faces charges of “sexual assault, corruption of minors, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and unlawful contact with a minor.”

The police also arrested Daniel and Savilla Stolzfus, the 18-year-old’s parents who live about 100 miles away. Authorities stated that the parents “gifted” their daughter to Kaplan after he helped them out financially.

Authorities from the Lower Southampton Police Department stated that a tip from neighbors brought them to look into Kaplan. Jen Betz, the neighbor who called the police, said that when she saw two girls in the driveway of Kaplan’s home looking “unhappy and sad,” she knew something was wrong.

The investigation into this case is ongoing.
