A statue made entirely of Legos depicting Nick the fox from Disney’s film “Zootopia” had a catastrophic end at the Lego show in southern China. A few hours into the expo a boy demolished the statue and sent Legos flying everywhere! This may not seem like a big deal… but did I mention the piece cost $15,000?

“Mr. Zhao,” the artist behind the sculpture, had live updates of the incident through his social media pages. First he showed images of him building and working on the piece. Finally, a picture showing a scene of tiny multi-colored building blocks scattering the floor depicted the sculptures unfortunate demise.

Zhao stated that “the child did not intend to break [the piece].” Zhao accepted the parent’s apology and found out that the youngster is about 4 or 5 years old. Zhao also declined compensation for his art.
