The Chinese and English languages are so completely different that restaurants in China have great difficulty translating the Chinese terms for their dishes into English - Sauce on My Grandma, The Hand that Grasps the Cowboy Bone, Fried Swarm, Smell of Urine Dry Noodles,” and “Gollum Shrimp.”

In Beijing, some wheelchair accessible bathrooms are marked “Deformed Person.” English speakers may laugh, but the Chinese Government is not happy and is putting pressure on these businesses to clean up their translations for foreign visitors.
