Amy Cohen Efron shared a 'theory' (based on rough observations) about the audience's perception of Nyle DiMarco from Deafness to Deaf Gain. There are five different stages of changing perception. Modeled after Kubler-Ross' famous Stages of Grief. Amy Cohen Efron uses Nyle DiMarco as an example and how the mainstream audience have been reacting so far.
