Region III Representatives Holly Ketchum and Jerry Nelson give a brief report of what's happening in Region III.

JERRY: Hello from Region III! I'm Jerry Nelson.

HOLLY: And I'm Holly Ketchum.

JERRY: Guess where we are? We're in Utah, enjoying the beautiful mountains and snowy landscape. The NAD Board met to discuss many issues of national interest -- look for more information on the NAD website. To summarize the end of 2015 activities of Region III State Associations, all of them hosted their state biennial conferences where people discussed state-wide issues to improve the lives of deaf people in their states. Now, for 2016...

HOLLY: For 2016, the NAD continues to support legislative efforts for the states. It's important for the NAD to work with the State Associations. To get updates, please go to the NAD Region III Facebook page, okay?

JERRY: Oh, and guess What? This July will be an exciting and important month!

HOLLY: The NAD Biennial Conference is coming to Phoenix, Arizona. The Conference website will be released soon!
