Subtitles: Hello everyone, I hope you all have a good night. My night is okay. Just started packing for my flight tomorrow. I am making this video to tell you about my proposal story when Luis asked me to marry him on this past Friday. Before I tell you the story, I want to inform you all that my pop pop is not doing well. He has Stage 4 Pancreatic cancer. I found out a few weeks ago. You probably saw some of my FB statuses asking you all for prayers or telling you all that I am down. That is the reason why. Prayers do work sometimes but in this case, I don't know.... Anyways back to the point, on Friday afternoon I woke up and received the text from my dad saying that my pop pop isnt doing well.. He is not eating and he is getting physically weak. He couldnt climb the stairs. My dad was worried about him. It made me upset seeing him like that, that hurts me.. And see my pop pop suffer, that hurts me too. Made me upset. I sat here on the couch crying.Next thing I know, Luis grabbed the ring box and put it on the table.. Said to me that he wants me to take this box to NJ when I visit my family for Easter.. to tell my pop pop that we are planning to get engaged. I said to him honestly... I would prefer to be already engaged than assume to be engaged. I dont want to give my pop pop false hopes - you know? He said fine ok, he took the ring box apart and I was like what are you doing? He dropped on one knee and said "Danielle Marie Hoagland, will you marry me?" I was like ..."OFC yes i would!" then he said "I am not joking you know that right?" I said "yes I know your not kidding! This is the real thing, yes i will marry you, yes!" That's my story! Overall, he did this for my pop pop because we both knew he will not be there for our wedding. I am sad, yeahh.. That is life, I prefer him knowing that we are getting married. Yep, ok Good night bye!
